Will have to borrow one - as I have done for the last few years. Guess the I-am-a-middle-aged-man-wearing-a-beret
-and-stripey-pyjamas Vespa
won't make it up the hill.

Daiquiri, of course, will ride one. Spotted him on an automatic, just the wance. Don't think he felt comfortable.

Where's your auld wan that Hugh had apres vous?

don't know but that bike was worth its weight in gold. only real problems I had occurred after dropping it into a river on the trail between Ha Giang Cao Bang, and trying to ride it through a landslide in the Central Highlands. the bike can't really be faulted for that kind of behaviour... think I should offer a reward in return for information leading to the recovery of the bike? like a keo lac or something?

Methinks Hoi An is a posibility

or even a possibility. Hugh might have sold it or left in it their old house down there.

They're now selling for 500 doillars plus in Hanoi - sometimes more, though admittedly sometimes less.

Collector's item status awaits. I'll get it back for you, pickle it in nuoc mam and by the time we get to Buck Roger's 24th and a half century future it will be worth zillions....

... of dong-credits?
